Welcome Gift Terms and
Conditions: |
| 1. |
The welcome gift is applicable to Principal Card applicants who have submitted the application form from 1 July until 30 September 2011 (the "Promotion Period") and successfully applied for Standard Chartered Platinum Card / Gold Card / Titanium MasterCard / Classic Card. |
| 2. |
At the time of credit card approval, Principal Card applicants who currently hold or in the past 6 months have cancelled any
Standard Chartered Credit Card or MANHATTAN Credit Card are not eligible for the welcome gift. |
| 3. |
To be eligible for the welcome gift, each successful Principal Card applicant is required to spend HK$4,800 or more with the new card within the first two months from the card issuance date. A redemption letter will be sent to the successful Principal Card applicant within the first month upon card issuance. |
| 4. |
Eligible transactions for spending requirement are retail purchases (including both local and overseas transactions) with sales slip issued. Any whole amount of instalment purchase, cash advances, online purchase, gambling tokens, utilities bill, tax payment via Phone Banking Services or Standard Chartered On-line, unposted / cancelled / refunded / falsified / unauthorized transactions are not included. |

Each successful Principal Card applicant may choose from one of the following as the welcome gift:

| b. |
LENCO SpeakerBall (IPD-4200) OR |
| c. |
Stadler Form OTTO Fan (IF-3587)OR |
| d. |
NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine (redeem at a special price of HK$199 or get it free with successful application of
2 Principal Cards from 2 applicants). |

After spending requirement is fulfilled, successful Principal Card applicants can redeem the welcome gift by presenting the
redemption letter, sales slips and the newly approved Standard Chartered Credit Card at the designated redemption centres. Details of the redemption procedures will be set out in the redemption letter. |
| 7. |
For Principal Card applicants who choose to redeem the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine at a special price of HK$199, after spending requirement is fulfilled, successful Principal Card applicants can redeem the welcome gift in person by presenting the redemption letter, sales slips and settling the transaction with the newly approved Standard Chartered Credit Card at the designated redemption centres. Details of the redemption procedures will be set out in the redemption letter. |
| 8. |
Once the welcome gift is chosen, it cannot be exchanged for alternative. Principal Card applicant will receive HK$500 PARKnSHOP Gift Coupon if no preference has been indicated. |
| 9. |
The welcome gift is available on a first-come-first-served basis while stock lasts. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) reserves the right to offer an alternative gift as replacement in case of shortage. |
| 10. |
The welcome gift is not transferable, returnable or redeemable for cash. |
| 11. |
Each successful Principal Card applicant will only be entitled to the welcome gift once regardless of the number of approved applications they made within the Promotion Period. |
| 12. |
Cardholders are required to keep the relevant credit card sales slips for inspection and in case of disputes, for investigation by the Bank. Sales slips submitted to the Bank for inspection or investigation will not be returned to the Cardholder. |
| 13. |
If customer who has already redeemed the welcome gift cancels the card during the period of one year from the date of new card issuance, the Bank reserves the right to charge the customer an administration cost of HK$500 for each card cancellation. |
