Standard Chartered Arts in the Park
Every year, "Standard Chartered Arts in the Plaza" offers the community a fun-filled afternoon of interactive art activities including handicraft workshops, and non-stop dance and musical performances at Stanley. In 2008, the event will move to Victoria Park and be re-named as "Arts in the Park". Over a thousand young people will be invited to participate in this large-scale project; which includes a giant puppet performance, rod puppet making activities and an arts carnival.

Switch off Idling Vehicle Engines
Around the world, Standard Chartered strives for sustainable development and environmental protection. In November 2007, Standard Chartered Hong Kong made a pledge to switch off all idling vehicle engines in the company car pool to improve air quality.

| 10 for 10 Integrated Arts Project |
10 for 10 Integrated Arts Project
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to Chinese sovereignty in 2007, over 300 young people created projects using 10 different artistic mediums to highlight the changes and development of Hong Kong's scenery and cultural activities. These works of art included printed silk screens, 3D photomontages, fabric sculptures, miniature models, murals, painted portraits, and mixed media installations.
