| General Terms and Conditions : |
| 1. |
To be eligible for the promotion, Cardholders are
required to settle payment with the credit cards issued by Standard
Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"), including
Standard Chartered Credit Card, Standard Chartered Co-branded Credit
Card and Standard Chartered American Express® Card ("Applicable
Credit Card"). The promotion is not applicable to Standard Chartered
Corporate Card. |
| 2. |
The rewards offered under the promotion will be given in the
form of cash rebate ("cashback") |
| 3. |
To be eligible for the Offer, the relevant credit card account
must be valid and in good financial standing when the cashback is
to be credited. The cashback amounts cannot be drawn as cash advance,
is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and cannot offset credit card
payment. |
| 4. |
The Bank will verify transaction record to confirm Cardholders'
eligibility for the promotion. In case of discrepancy between the
Bank's computer record and details recorded on the credit card sales
slip, the Bank's computer record shall prevail. |
| 5. |
If Cardholders have cancelled any related transaction which had
been included in calculating for the promotion after the cashback
is credited to the Cardholder's Eligible Credit Card Account, the
Bank has the right to debit the amount equivalent to the value of
cashback from Cardholder's Credit Card Account without further notice. |
| 6. |
Cardholders are required to keep the relevant original sales
receipts and credit card sales slips for inspection upon request
by the Bank. In case of disputes, Cardholders are required to submit
the relevant original sale receipt(s) and credit card sales slip(s)
for further investigation by the Bank. All relevant documents submitted
to the Bank will not be returned. |
| 7. |
If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English
and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English
version shall prevail. |

| Terms and Conditions of Phone-in Summer
Sale Lucky Draw ("Lucky Draw") : |
| 1. |
The Promotion is valid from 31 May 2008 to 31 July
2008 (both dates inclusive) (the "Promotion Period"). |
| 2. |
During the Promotion Period (based on the transaction date),
Cardholder who makes Eligible Transaction (as defined in Clause
4 below) with an Applicable Credit Card will be entitled to one
entry to the Lucky Draw. Cardholders are required to call the Phone-in
Summer Sale 24-hour Hotline 2209 5400 anytime between 9:00am of
31 May 2008 and 11:00pm of 2 August 2008. Cardholders are also required
to input the Applicable Credit Card Account number, transaction
date and transaction amount in order to enter the draw. Once a draw
is conducted, all transaction information and the draw record cannot
be cancelled, altered or reversed. |
| 3. |
The prize will be drawn by computer randomly; the result and
reference number will be announced instantly at the completion of
the lucky draw. However, it is not a confirmation of entitlement
of the prize, which is subject to verification of validity of the
entry. |
| 4. |
Eligible transactions ("Eligible Transactions") only include
local retail purchase transactions of HK$500 or above per transaction
with physical sales slip. Other transactions including, without
limitation, overseas retail purchase transactions, cash advance,
handling fee, annual fee, past due charges, overlimit charges, interest/finance
charges, online purchases, mail and telephone orders, balance transfer
amount and interests, "Instalment Credit" Plan amount and interests/handling
fee, "Credit-to-Cash" Program amount and interests/handling fee,
bill payment, casino chip exchange, tax payment, auto payment, utilities
bill, insurance payment, billed monthly instalment of interest-free
instalment plans, Octopus auto-reloaded amount, any respective handling
fee and repayment amount of Statement Instalment Plan, other transactions
without sales slip and any unauthorized transaction are not eligible
for this Promotion. Any unposted/cancelled/refunded/falsified transactions
are also excluded. |
| 5. |
There is no limit on the number of draws per Cardholder. Each
Cardholder is entitled to a maximum of HK$10,000 cashback during
Promotion Period. Transactions made by the Principal and Supplementary
Cardholder of` the same Applicable Credit Card Account will be counted
collectively. |
| 6. |
If Cardholder enters the Promotion more than once with multiple
transactions made at the same merchant on the same day, or with
the same Eligible Transaction only the first eligible entry will
be entitled to the relevant prize. |
| 7. |
Once the transactions and the related credit card account information
are verified and confirmed to be qualified for the prize(s), cashback
will be credited to the Applicable Credit Card Account on or before
31 October 2008. The cashback amount will be shown in the monthly
statement. If the prize is a percentage of the relevant Eligible
Transaction, the cashback amount will be calculated by multiplying
the transaction amount by the percentage and will be credited into
the Applicable Credit Card Account . . The cashback amount will
be rounded up to the nearest 2 decimal places in Hong Kong dollars. |
| 8. |
The Bank reserves the right to alter or terminate this Promotion
and amend the terms and conditions thereof at any time. In case
of disputes, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive.
