Terms and conditions for New Fund Growth Offer: |

The promotion period is valid from 19 June 2008 to 4 July 2008 (the "Promotion Period"). Customers who bring in new funds of HK$150,000 or above ("New Fund Amount") to grow the Combined Deposits and Investment Balance+ (the "Total Balance") will be eligible to the New Fund Growth Offer. The new funds must be deposited in the form of cash or cheque/cashier order from other banks, and must not be transferred from any account within the Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the "Bank"). |

The Total Balance includes the aggregate balance of deposits, investments and accumulated premiums of selected insurance of the primary account holders. The respective balance will only be counted into the Total Balance of primary account holder. |

Customers are required to maintain a New Total Balance ("New Total Balance"), i.e. the sum of their Total Balance as of 30 April 2008 and the New Fund Amount, on a daily basis starting from the date he/she brings in the new fund to the Bank until 30 September 2008 ("Fund Retention Period"). Therefore, customer shall make up for any shortfall between his/her Total Balance as of 30 April 2008 and his/her prevailing Total Balance when he/she bring in new funds to the Bank, as fulfilment of the fund retention requirement is based on the Total Balance as of 30 April 2008. This make-up balance is not eligible for the New Fund Growth Offers listed below. For your Total Balance as of 30 April 2008, please refer to our branch staff. |

The New Fund Amount will be used to determine the cash coupon or travel reward that the customers entitle as set out in the below table. If the New Total Balance drops in any day within the Fund Retention Period, the Bank reserves the right to charge the customer the amount equivalent to the value of cash coupon or travel reward customers have received from this promotion without prior notice. |

Cathy Pacific Tokyo 3-day 2-night travel package for 2: A maximum cost of HK$10,180 will be borne by the Bank, including two round trip Cathy Pacific economy class air tickets between Hong Kong and Tokyo, two nights' hotel accommodation at the Century Southern Tower Hotel or same class (on a twin sharing basis) and daily breakfast (in selected hotel), but excluding all fees and charges imposed by the travel agency and/or by any relevant third party (including airport surcharge, TIC levy, airport tax, airline fuel surcharge, personal travel insurance costs, peak season surcharge and other additional cost). Details and relevant terms and conditions for this reward and the redemption details will be printed on the redemption letters. |

The redemption letter of the travel reward will be mailed to eligible customers by 31 July 2008. |

Each customer can be entitled to each tier of travel reward under this promotion for once only. |

Customers have to be the primary account holders for all accounts / services in which the new funds are deposited / invested, in order to be eligible for this offer. |

Terms & Conditions for Priority Banking and excelbanking Welcome Offers |

The Priority Banking or excelbanking welcome offer is only applicable to new customers to Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited ("the Bank"). Customers must successfully sign up for Priority Banking or excelbanking during the Promotion Period by meeting the required Relationship Balance * (the Relationship Balance amount of joint accounts will be brought into the primary account holder's account) to be eligible for HK$500 cash coupons (for Priority Banking) or Elle 20" Luggage Trolley (for excelbanking) and first 4-quarter maintenance fee waiver ("Welcome Offers"). New customers to the Bank include any customers who did not hold any accounts of the Bank (except credit card) within 12 months prior to the sign-up. |

Outstanding balances on supplementary cards will contribute to the Relationship Balance of the principal cardholder only. |

The required Relationship Balance for Priority Banking is HK$1,000,000 (or HK$500,000 for customers who newly sign up payroll account of the Bank at the same time) and the required Relationship Balance for excelbanking is HK$150,000 (or HK$50,000 for customers who newly sign up payroll account of the Bank at the same time). |

A quarterly maintenance fee of HK$600 (for Priority Banking) or HK$180 (for excelbanking) will be charged if the average daily Relationship Balance of the customer of the past 3 months falls below the minimum requirement of the respective relationship packages starting from the fifth quarter of the sign-up. If the customer terminates or ceases to use the Bank's payroll account, the customer has to maintain an average daily Relationship Balance of HK$1,000,000 (for Priority Banking) or HK$150,000 (for excelbanking) in the past 3 months, otherwise, a quarterly maintenance fee of the respective relationship packages will be charged. |

Welcome Offers of the cash coupon will be presented to eligible customers upon sign-up of Priority Banking at branches. While the redemption letter of the welcome offer of Elle 20" Luggage Trolley for excelbanking will be mailed to eligible customers by 31 July 2008. If customers cancel the respective relationship packages on or before 30 September 2008, the Bank reserves the right to charge customers an administrative fee of HK$500 without prior notice. |

The Bank reserves the right to terminate, vary or modify any of the above offers and to amend any of the above terms and conditions from time to time without prior notice. In case of dispute, the Bank's decision shall be final and binding. |

The Bank is not the supplier of the cash coupons, travel reward and luggage trolley. The Bank gives no guarantee as to the quality of goods and services provided by the supplier and does not accept any responsibility or any liability arising in or in conjunction with the use of the goods and services provided by the supplier.The terms and conditions of using the cash coupon or travel reward is bound by the suppliers. |

The cash coupon, travel reward and luggage trolley cannot be exchanged or refund.

If the travel reward, cash coupon or luggage trolley is out of stock, the Bank reserves the right to provide any alternative. |
