Each of the monthly repayment amounts shown in the table above includes a handling fee of 1.5% p.a.. The Annualized Percentage Rates ("APR") in parentheses above are calculated in accordance to the Net Present Value Method as specified in the Code of Banking Practice. Interest is calculated on the basis of a 365 or 366-day year (where applicable).

^Privileged customers are determined based on the customers' credit record. Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (The "Bank") has the absolute right to determine the approval of the loan and the final interest rate.

Standard Chartered Personal Instalment Loan Debt Consolidation Program Terms and Conditions

• The Bank reserves the right of final approval of this application and is under no obligation to provide reasons. The Bank also reserves the right to determine the final interest rate, loan amount and offers offered.
• Upon successful application for the Standard Chartered Personal Instalment Loan Debt Consolidation Program, all the approved loan amount is to be used for settling the total or part of outstanding balances of other credit cards / personal loans.
• The Bank will not accept any application of this loan for settling outstanding amount(s) of Standard Chartered Credit Card/Standard Chartered Co-Branded Card / MANHATTAN Credit Card / MANHATTAN Co-Branded Card account(s).
• Within five working days upon approval of the loan application, the Bank will
  • (i) directly pay the approved loan amount to the customer's designated credit card account(s) with other bank(s), where such bank(s) may deduct a handling fee for local telegraphic transfer from the relevant account; and / or
  • (ii) send the Cashier's Order(s) with the approved loan amount to customer's correspondent address directly. Upon receiving the Cashier's Order(s), customer should settle the relevant loan(s) by depositing the amount(s) to the designated loan account(s) with other bank(s) / financial institution(s) accordingly; and / or
  • (iii) disburse approved loan amount to the repayment account of the relative bank(s) / financial institution(s) directly. Customer should settle the relevant loan(s) by depositing the amount(s) to the designated loan account(s) with other bank(s) / financial institution(s) accordingly. The actual date of payment is determined by individual banks / financial institutions according to their relevant policies and procedures. The Bank will not be liable for any interests, charges or penalties (if any) arising from or in connection with such payment.
• Until receipt of notification of approval, the customer shall continue to be liable to make payments to such other bank(s) / financial institution(s), in respect of amounts owed to it / them in relation to the loan amount applied under this program. The Bank will not be liable for any overdue payment, interest or charges incurred as a result of non-payment by the customer of the amounts owed to such bank(s) / financial institution(s).
• Total loan amount drawdown will be subject to a 1.5% per annum handling fee. The Bank will deduct the handling charge from the final approved loan amount.
• The Bank reserves the right to alter or terminate the offer and amend the contents or terms and conditions of this promotional leaflet at any time.
• In case of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final.

The prevailing pricing is offered to you based on the credit assessment upon your loan approval. The Bank has the right to modify your pricing with 30 days advance notice based on the credit assessment from time to time including, but not only limited to, your repayment record, credit bureau grading and the Bank's prevailing credit policy. Besides 30 days advance notice, the Bank will attempt to do this with minimal change in your instalment amount.
