The Total Instalment Paid is affected by the trend of the HIBOR. Therefore, we provide you with 1-/ 3-/ 6- months HIBOR fixing periods so that you can choose the period that suits your expectations of future interest rates.
Better mortgage planning with Mortgage Interest Rate Cap
Upon maturity day of the HIBOR fixing period, the system will automatically set up a mortgage interest rate cap for that fixing period until the next maturity day. This allows you to have greater control over repaying your mortgage.
Remarks: The Standard Chartered “Prime-based” mortgage interest rate (P) is used as a basis to calculate the mortgage interest rate cap upon the maturity day of HIBOR fixing period
