A Wide range of orders to maximize investment opportunities
To help you capture market opportunities, apart from normal limit order, we offer an additional choice of order types for timely and effective execution.
Pre-Opening Session At-Auction Limit Order
You can place an At-Auction Limit Order during the pre-opening session. Input limit price of unfilled orders that do not deviate from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange requirement will be converted to normal limit orders at the input limit price and carried forward to the Continuous Trading Session (at 10am).
Market Order
You can execute an order at the prevailing market price by placing a Market Order without setting a limit price, but just an order quantity. The order will be executed at the prevailing market price at the time of execution.
Stop Loss Order
You can manage your stock portfolio risk efficiently in adverse market conditions with a Stop-Loss Order. Once your pre-set Stop Loss Price is reached, the order will be triggered and sent to the Stock Exchange for execution. You will also be required to set the Lowest Selling Price, in which the Stop Loss Limit Order will not be executed.

Closing Auction Session At-Auction Limit Order
You can place an At-Auction Limit Order during the order input period of the closing auction session. Outstanding Enhanced Limit Orders from the continuous trading session will be carried forward to the Closing Auction Session (at 4pm) as At-Auction Limit Orders.
Instant Order Confirmation lets you keep track of your status
We provide free Instant Order Confirmation Service to inform you on the results of your executed, cancelled, rejected and /or unexecuted orders via SMS to your registered mobile phone and / or email account. You can also keep track of your order status through our Online Securities Trading Platform or Securities Services Hotline.
Real-Time Stock Alert Service provides up-to-date market
development
Timely stock market information is critical in helping you make the right investment decisions. Therefore, we provide free market news to you. You can also register stock price alerts via our Online Securities Trading Platform, our system will instantly alert you via SMS or email when the stock price reaches the pre-set price level. Physical Scrip Deposit / Selling
Physical scrip deposit is accepted at our Securities Services Counter at 15th Floor, Standard Chartered Tower, 388 Kwun Tong Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon.
You can sell the securities you have deposited once the registration by the relevant share registrar for the securities is completed.
Custodian Services
Our custodian services ensure prompt and secure collection of any dividends and bonus shares on your behalf, as well as safekeeping of your securities. Dividends or income from corporate action will be deposited directly to your settlement account. You’ll also receive notice of stock split, share consolidation, right issues and bonus shares.
For added convenience, relevant corporate announcements concerning stock holdings will also be posted on our Online Securities Trading Platform.
