Easy Banking BonusPack is available free of charge if you have either savings, insurance or investments (average daily Relationship Balance⁸) of at least HKD10,000¹⁰ within the quarter. If your average daily Relationship Balance falls below HKD10,000, you will be charge a quarterly maintenance fee of HKD120.

Risk Disclosure Statements for RMB Deposit Services:

Renminbi ("RMB") exchange rate, like any other currency, is affected by a wide range of factors and is subject to fluctuations. Such fluctuations may result in gains and losses in the event that the customer subsequently converts RMB to another currency (including Hong Kong dollars); and
RMB is currently not freely convertible and conversion of RMB through banks in Hong Kong is subject to restrictions. For instance, for a personal customer, conversion to/from RMB is currently subject to a respective daily limit of RMB20,000 per person per day. Customers may have to allow time for conversion of RMB from/to another currency of an amount exceeding the daily limit. The actual conversion arrangement will depend on the restrictions prevailing at the relevant time.

The service is applicable to customers with no other prearranged overdraft facility set up with any HKD Current Accounts. It applies to clearing cheques and autopay arrangement with the protection limit up to 95% of HKD deposits and 80% of foreign currency deposits excluding Renminbi deposits or the accumulated overdraft amount not exceeding HKD40,000, whichever is lower. The Relationship Balance includes the aggregate balance of deposits, investments, accumulated premiums of selected insurance, utilised amounts of secured / unsecured overdraft facilities, outstanding balances on Standard Chartered credit cards⁹ and outstanding balances of Standard Chartered Personal Loans you maintain with Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited (the “Bank”) under personal accounts in sole name or joint names as primary account holder.

Standard Chartered credit cards refer to Standard Chartered Credit Card, Standard Chartered American Express^® Card and Standard Chartered co-branded credit card (including supplementary cards and corporate cards) issued by the Bank. Outstanding balances on supplementary cards will contribute to the Relationship Balance of the principal cardholder only.

A maintenance fee of HKD120 will be applied at the end of each quarter if your average daily Relationship Balance falls below HKD10,000.
